About Me

I received my medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois in 1997. I completed my residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. I went on to complete post-graduate medical work in geriatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine.

I am board certified in internal medicine. I am also a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society.

I joined the Permanente Medical Group in 2001. I had been working as a part-time weekend physician for Kaiser before joining the staff. My practice is focused on Primary Care and Internal Medicine; however, I also have an interest in geriatrics and preventive medicine.

When I am not attending to my busy medical practice, I enjoy traveling, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.

I am conversant in Mandarin and Taiwanese.

General Recommendation for your visit with me

Please remember to bring an updated list of all your medications with you, including over the counter and herbal medicines. Also include the dosage and frequency of each medication. I recommend you keep this list with you at all times in your wallet next to your driver's or state license.
