My Biography

I relocated to San Francisco from Michigan, and I decided to practice at Kaiser Permanente because of its workforce diversity and its new Hearing Center. I feel privileged to work in this team environment. The Kaiser model is an excellent fit for myself and for my patients’ needs. For instance, our Hearing Center provides patients with a comprehensive clinic that addresses all of their hearing health care needs in one place.

I maintain special interests in the areas of diagnostic audiology, hearing aid dispensing, and vestibules disorders. I attend conferences on a regular basis with such groups as Northern California Kaiser Permanente Audiology and the American Academy of Audiology.

During my leisure time, I take every opportunity I can to explore the Bay area’s exquisite cuisine (I am an avid foodie!). I am a member of Kaiser’s Dragon Boat racing team, known as The Dragon Healers. To keep healthy, I exercise regularly and I especially enjoy hiking.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
