My Practice philosophy

As a physician, preventive medicine emerges to be of vital importance. In the current era where we have ample resources to prevent progression and control symptoms of various diseases, prevention is still better than cure. I believe in a system of educating and implementing awareness about various healthcare-screening protocols. A strong basic foundation with facts about diet, exercise and annual physicals, preventing sexually transmitted illnesses, reporting symptoms in a timely manner, detecting and controlling diseases at early stages are imperative for health.

The essence of practicing medicine lies in building trust and a physician-patient relationship where you are free to talk about anything. Being able to offer treatment for physical and mental health and facilitate treatment with the specialist when needed as your primary care physician makes this bond stronger.

My career journey

My father, who is a surgeon in India, was my motivation to being a physician. His moral values and ethics inspire me to deliver honest and respectful patient care. I have been in practice since 2005, working for federally qualified health center in New Jersey, serving the uninsured. Later I worked for a hospital based clinic in New Jersey, for two years. There, my scope of practice included urgent and primary care. Recently I moved to California with my family, and I am very excited to be a part of the Kaiser team.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
