My Biography:

Welcome to my webpage!

First a little about myself. I was born and raised in New York City and went to college and medical school on the east coast. I graduated from Hamilton College with a bachelor's of arts in mathematics before obtaining my MD degree from Boston University School of Medicine. After medical school, I completed three years of residency training in internal medicine at the VA Medical Center in West Los Angeles.

I have fond memories of Boston not only because of medical school, but also because it is the place where I met my wife. We have been married since 2000 and are proud parents to a wonderful daughter, whom we welcomed into our lives in July 2003. She keeps us very busy. A Jack Russell terrier mix completes the family.

I am avid basketball and football fan and enjoy cooking, as well as dining out.

I view the doctor-patient relationship as a symbiotic partnership with the goal of health and well-being. I pledge to provide healthcare to the best of my ability.

Feel free to browse on the links on this page. There are both medical information links and links of interest to myself. You will get a flavor about my interests and personality from the links.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
