My Biography:

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to the Bay Area when I was 10 years old. I attended San Jose State University and graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry then earned my medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and went on to complete an internship at University of California, San Francisco-Fresno and residency back at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

I'm a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). I joined the Kaiser Permanente Milpitas Medical Offices in August of 1998. Outside of Kaiser, I co-chair the scholarship committee for the Vietnamese Physician Association of Northern California.

I'm married and have a daughter and a son. When I'm not working, I enjoy relaxing with my family as well as playing sports. I speak fluent Vietnamese and very limited Spanish.

I like to spend the needed time obtaining a complete history and performing a thorough exam with my patients to ensure optimal care. At times I do get behind but I won't rush through the visit. Feel free to ask me any of your concerns and I will address them. If you have an urgent message, want to make an appointment with me, or get advice from our call center right away, please call (408)945-2933.

Other Languages: Vietnamese

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
