About Me
Since 1991, I have been working full time for the Occupational Medicine Clinic and the Primary Care Unit E (formerly Urgent Care Clinic) at Kaiser Milpitas. I treat people with work-related injuries and illnesses such as back and extremity injuries, minor trauma, repetitive strain injuries, and chemical exposures. In addition, I also treat people with non-work related acute musculoskeletal problems.

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I practiced Family Medicine in the San Jose area for about five years.

I am also a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University Medical School.

I attended the University of California, Berkeley, California, where I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Master of Public Health Degree in Occupational Health, and Doctor of Public Health Degree in Environmental Health. I then completed my Doctor of Medicine Degree at Stanford University, and my Family Practice Residency training at the San Jose Medical Center, San Jose, California.

In addition to my practice in Occupational Medicine, I have been active in the field of Environmental Management and have served on several Federal and State Environmental Boards and Commissions.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
