Welcome to my home page. My name is Marybeth Zill and I am an audiologist at the Hearing Center in Redwood City. I perform hearing evaluations to help identify hearing problems in children and adults.

I was born and raised in Illinois. I attended Northern Illinois University. My freshman year, I participated in a research study conducted by graduate students from the Speech Pathology and Audiology Clinic at the university. I found this field of study to be very interesting and chose it for my major. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders in 1982, and I received my Master of Science degree in Audiology from Illinois State University in 1984.

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1999. I like the style of practice, and that patients have easy access to our services. My practice includes both children and adults with a special interest in pediatric audiology. I have a rewarding career and enjoy being an audiologist.

I am married and have one child. I like to spend time with my family outdoors on a mountain bike ride, or a trip to the beach. I also enjoy musical theater and the ballet.

Credentials/Professional Organizations: Certificate of Clinical Competence-Audiology-American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. California State License-Audiology American Academy of Audiologist California Speech-Language Hearing Association California Academy of Audiologist

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
