My Practice Philosophy
I believe that the patient-doctor relationship is one based on teamwork, where the physician guides and provides the patient the information necessary to make an informed decision regarding their health.
About Me
I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I attended U.C. Berkeley and received my B.A. Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I received my Medical Degree in 2002 at Tufts University School of Medicine. I completed my residency/fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1995. I am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
My Interests
My specialty areas include Diabetes Management and Endocrinology. I am fluent in Spanish and Taiwanese. During my spare time, I enjoy jogging, hiking, playing soccer, and going to the movies. I volunteered in a student-run free clinic, during medical school and residency.
