About Me

I became a physician because I enjoy helping people. Practicing dermatology allows me to see an interesting variety of problems in different age groups and perform multiple procedures that I enjoy.

We practice medicine at Kaiser Permanente in what I believe is the best way possible, because our focus is on the patients' health and not their wallets. Working at Kaiser Permanente allows me to view each patient as a person, as I can focus on each individual's problems and needs, instead of the person's health plan coverage or payment system. I am blessed to work for Kaiser Permanente and feel that the focus we have on the patients' needs provides for better health care.

When I am not enjoying my work, I enjoy my family immensely and road bicycling intensely.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
