History/Philosophy

Like many others, I had no idea I would become an audiologist. My education first led me to be a speech/language pathologist. During graduate school I was fascinated by my classes in audiology because my Father was hard of hearing all of his life. While I enjoyed working with children as a speech pathologist in schools, I felt passionate about audiology and decided to go back to graduate school. My Father was one of my first patient's and is still a patient of mine to this day.

I enjoy working for Kaiser because we have a wonderful team of caring, dedicated audiologists and receptionists. It is like a family here and we all go out of our way to help others. Kaiser also provides us with high quality equipment, training, and flexible patient schedules that allow us to provide high quality care.

Some areas of audiology that I specialize in are testing infants and children, pediatric and adult hearing aid fitting, auditory brainstem response, and vestibular testing.

About Me

I was born in San Francisco and had the pleasure of spending many years in the bay area and also upstate New York. My home life involves fun things like traveling to see new places and cultures, eating great food in the bay area, and enjoying all the indoor and outdoor activities that the bay area offers with my friends and family. I also love animals, feeding the birds, and reading non-fiction books.
