My Practice Philosophy
I believe in providing high quality evidence based care for my patients. I like to partner with my patients and encourage them to set goals for their health and help them achieve those in the best possible way.
About Me
I was born in Carmel, CA and raised in Salinas, CA. I joined Kaiser Permanente, Santa Clara, in 2005 where I share my time between the Ear Nose and Throat clinic and The Hearing Aid Center.
My education preparation began at California State University, Sacramento where I was rewarded my Bachelor and Master of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Following graduation I spent a year at Turlock Center for Better Hearing in Turlock, CA, where my special interests were audiological and vestibular testing, newborn hearing screenings, and hearing aid dispensing. The next few years were spent at a private Otolaryngology clinic developing a hearing aid practice and performing vestibular and diagnostic testing. It was at this facility that I began to appreciate hearing aid dispensing and how hearing aids can really change an individual’s quality of life.
I received my doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology, in March of 2008. I am a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a certified member of the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association, the California Hearing Aid Dispensers Bureau, and the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Board.
My Interests
I finished my first Half Marathon with the Kaiser Permanente Personal Best Running Team in February of 2008 and have been actively involved in training for upcoming Half Marathons. My husband and I were married in July of 2007 in Maui, Hawaii and reside in Campbell, CA.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
