Hi! Thank you for visiting my home page. I am an audiologist, which means I specialize in the evaluation and management of patients with hearing loss.

I became an audiologist because I have seen firsthand the effect that hearing loss has on people, their families, and their overall quality of life. I know what a difference effective management of hearing loss can make, and I am thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of making that difference for my patients.

Hearing aid technology is constantly improving; and although they are not perfect, they really can and do help people to communicate more easily. It is my goal to evaluate each patient’s individual needs and match them to one of the many hearing aid options available. Although I realize that most people are not excited about the prospect of wearing hearing aids, I strive to make the process as smooth, enjoyable, and successful as possible.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. I earned a Master of Arts in Audiology at Kent State University in Ohio. Although the Northeast and Midwest are fabulous places to live, I do not like snow, and thus moved to California. I enjoy outdoor activities, and spending time with my wonderful husband and son.

I strongly encourage anyone who thinks that hearing loss may be affecting their life to come visit us for a hearing evaluation. It may be the first step to getting you back to better hearing and a higher quality of life.
