Dr. Divya Laxmikant received her undergraduate degree from P.C. Jabin Science College, Hubli, Karnataka. She went on to graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum in 1999. She completed her residency training at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland in July 2007.
Dr. Laxmikant's medical interest is general preventive care and to offer patients a better quality of life.
Growing up, she was inspired by her father, as he practiced medicine, he was caring and dedicated to his patients. That influenced her and he continues to be a great source of inspiration. On a personal note, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, as well as cooking. In addition to English, she is fluent in Hindi and Kannada.
