About Me

I have been happily employed as a dietitian for over 10 years, with more than 7 of those being at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa. I was born in San Diego, CA, and graduated from San Diego State University in 1995 with a B.S. in Food and Nutrition. I then completed my dietetic internship at Patton State Hospital in San Bernardino County, CA, and passed the registration exam for dietitians in 1996. I became a Certified Lactation Educator in 1997 while working at the Women Infants and Children program in San Diego, CA. In 2004, I completed my M.S. degree in Human Nutrition at the University of New Haven, CT via a satellite campus in San Francisco. More About Me

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
