My Biography

I have been with the Department of Medicine at Milpitas Kaiser Medical Offices since 1988. I am board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Born and raised in Capitola, California, I attended Stanford University. While attending college, I spent part of my junior year studying in Vienna, Austria.

After graduation, I went to medical school at the University of California, Irvine. Upon receiving my medical degree, I moved to Portland, Oregon where I served my internship at Emanuel Hospital. I then returned to California to complete my internal medicine residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

I decided to return home to Northern California where I joined Kaiser Permanente in November of 1988. I am a member of the California Medical Association and Santa Clara County Medical Society.

I am married and have three daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family as well as playing tennis and gardening.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
