Welcome to my home page!!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to myself, our department, Kaiser Permanente and also provide you with the some links to useful dermatological information available on the Internet.

I was born and raised in New Delhi, India and trained as a Civil Engineer. I obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley and worked as a Consulting Engineer before my interest in medicine brought me to UC Davis School of Medicine. I received my medical degree at UC Davis, where I was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the highest honor awarded in medical school. I completed my internship training at Stanford University and my residency in Dermatology at UC Davis.

My Credentials

Medical school UC Davis School of Medicine, Davis, CA
Internship Stanford University, Stanford, CA
Residency UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, CA
Board certification Dermatology, American Board of Dermatology

I am a member of this very well established dermatology department in Fremont, that has been awarded top honors year after year for providing excellent care to its patients. I am very proud to be a part of this group and hope to provide you with a similar level of service. Please let me know if there are things we can do as a department to make your appointment more pleasant and useful.

Although I enjoy medical dermatology immensely, having been trained as an engineer I have a special interest in the field of Lasers and Cosmetic Dermatology. I have been involved in several studies and have presented on this topic at local and national meetings. Please let me know if I can be of any service to you or your family members for laser treatments, improvement of facial wrinkles with Botox, facial fillers such as Restylane, Collagen and Sculptra or for sclerotherapy – a treatment for spider veins. With the comprehensive medical and cosmetic services provided by the highly trained medical staff at Kaiser Permanente – you can feel healthy both inside and outside and “Thrive”.

When I am not treating patients, I like to spend time with my wife and two kids. I enjoy cooking, playing badminton and watching movies.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
