Stress

The way we feel physically is often connected to our emotions. Day to day stress can take a toll on your health and make you more susceptible to illness or injury. Stress can make it harder for you to lead a heart healthy life. No matter how healthy you are, there are basic things you can do to relax your mind and body. Depression

Depression is a medical condition, just like heart disease or diabetes. And it's more common than many people realize. If left untreated, it can affect your physical health too. Depression can even increase your chance of getting heart disease, and can make heart disease worse if you have it. The good news is that if you are depressed there are things you can do about it. Many people with depression receive counseling, medication or both. There are a variety of steps you can take and tools you can use to manage your moods.
