THRIVE: A Healthy You ...Click here to get connected and learn how to live healthier every day.

Welcome to my home page!

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I was at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where I practiced medicine and was involved in medical education for over ten years. My patients have been my treasure and have taught me a great deal through their illnesses, struggles, recoveries and living with chronic conditions. A quote from William Osler, given to me as a third-year medical student, has guided my practice so far: “Learn to see, learn to hear, learn to feel and know that by practice alone can you become expert… to study medicine without books is to travel an uncharted sea while to study medicine only from books is not to go to sea at all.”

I am also involved with the Young Adult Clinic, the first program of its kind in the Kaiser Permanente Northern California region. This Clinic is specifically geared towards the health needs and concerns of people from ages 18 to 25.

I am excited to practice at Kaiser because it is recognized in the area of quality and is now frequently touted on the East Coast as the model to follow. When I am not working, I enjoy swimming, yoga, reading and keeping up with my friends in New York.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
