About Me

Dr. Sindey Chung received her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois in 1997. She completed her residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She went on to complete post graduate medical work in geriatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine. She has continued at Stanford as a clinical faculty.

She is also a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society.

Dr. Chung joined the Permanente Medical Group in 2001. Dr. Chung's practice is focused on primary care and internal medicine; however, she also has an interest in geriatrics and preventive medicine.

When Dr. Chung is not attending to her busy medical practice she enjoys travel, swimming and children's books.

Additionally, Dr. Chung is conversant in Mandarin and Taiwanese.

General Recommendation for your visit with me

Please remember to bring an updated list of all your medications with you, including over the counter and herbal medicines. Also include the dosage and frequency of each medication. I recommend you keep this list with you at all times in your wallet next to your driver's or state license.
