Welcome to My Home Page! I am glad you took the time to visit my website.
I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 1987. I also speak some Cantonese and Mandarin. I am proud to be a Kaiser Permanente physician and honored to be associated with The Permanente Medical Group.
Prior to relocating to Kaiser Permanente Fresno, I was in private practice in Merced for ten years. I had a very rewarding and successful practice and my patients and their families were awesome and wonderful. But, in the end, my family had to come first, and they were my top priority. Joining Kaiser Permanente has allowed me the personal time I needed to fulfill my role as a husband and father. My interests and hobbies include music, short trips, especially to the coast, and dining out.
I was in the Pediatric Department for 15 years. I joined the Dermatology Department in June 2001. I received and participated in an intensive dermatology training program sponsored and conducted by Kaiser Permanente in Oakland. I look forward to serving your dermatological needs.
Practice Philosophy
With every patient I see and treat, I strive to provide and deliver the best possible personal quality of care. I am not known for my speed. In fact, I will fail miserably if I were judged by this. When I am in the exam room with the patient, I believe he/she deserves my time and my complete attention. I try to be as thorough as I can be given the allotted time. However, because each patient's needs and condition vary, it is inevitable that I will sometimes run beyond the designated time. I am sorry to say that waiting is a norm. But, hopefully in the end, you will be more than satisfied with the service.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
