Welcome,

My philosophy of medical practice is to encourage patient involvement in the decision making process and provide exceptional medical care. My goal is to articulate the complexities of medicine into an understandable language. I will stress preventative health care. Some problems will have straightforward solutions, and all that will be needed is a one-time visit. Unfortunately, other diagnoses can’t be cured and will require ongoing care. In these instances, I will follow you closely and strive to alleviate your pain and suffering while minimizing the impact on your lifestyle.

I treat dermatologic conditions for patients of all ages and both sexes. This involves the management of acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, skin infections and many other interesting dermatological problems. I will endeavor to teach, explain and recommend therapeutic options. When surgery is required I have the necessary training to perform the appropriate procedures.

I take pride in the Dermatology Department at South Sacramento. I know that my colleagues also feel the same way and we will provide you and your family with the best possible healthcare.

Kaiser Permanente allows me to effectively practice the kind of medicine that I feel I would want for my family and friends. At Kaiser Permanente, I can concentrate on providing the highest quality of care to individuals with problems related to the skin, hair and nails. When required, I have ready access to laboratory and radiological services, as well as other specialists. The close working relationships with other physicians, that may be following you, and the computerization of medical records allows for the smooth flow of information about your medical care.

I live in Elk Grove with my wife and three children. My hobbies include golf, tennis, skiing, photography, computers and travel.

My Credentials

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
